Trip to Utah

The Salt Lake Temple
Michelle showing her bus driving skills. I didn't dare park the car in such a cramped space since it wasn't my car. She's a pro though!! Way to go!!!
Fun day at temple square!!
Michelle, and what a pretty picture of her.
A picture of us in front of the temple. It's kind of far away, but you can at least see the temple in it.
Our relative, Appleton Harmon, who helped build an odometer for the wagons so they would know how many miles they traveled per day. To the side is his journal... pretty cool.
Michelle wanted this pict to be taken in the museum, because she's been studying about Joseph and Emma.
WOW!!
AGAIN.... WOW!!!
Hubba Hubba.... looking hot??
Michelle pointing out to me that I am a fabulous driver and that I am going the right way... without the GPS.

Aunt Janice at the wedding reception
Becca and Chris... in the background you can see Amanda and Aunt Pat.
Grandma Rowberry and Ellie... so cute!
Grandpa Rowberry and Ellie
Grandpa and Ellie playing. Having so much fun!!

So I know it's been awhile since I wrote, but things are finally slowing down. I am now out of school for the summer and I am so happy!!!
My cousin Alicia got married on May 2, and so I rode down to Utah with Mom, Dad & Michelle. It was a fun, FAST trip!! We left Rexburg at about 8:30 am. We took our time and Michelle and I watched Harry Potter 5 while dad drove. That was nice... made the trip go by much faster. We stopped in Taylorsville and picked up Chris. He guided us to this bakery called "Paradise Bakery" where we met Becca and Ellie and went to lunch. It was so delicious. I think this will be one of my new favorite restaurants for future visits. We did a little bit of shopping and then hurried back to Chris and Becca's apartment to get ready to go to Alicia and Scotts wedding. Well actually, Mom and Dad went to the wedding, Chris and Becca put Ellie down for a nap, and Michelle and I went to Temple Square. It was a fun visit. I haven't been there for awhile and it was nice to take a nice leisurely stroll. Michelle and I are pretty even tempered and it was nice to do what we wanted and not worry if the kids were getting tired etc. We went to the Church Museum, (Michelle had never been there before)I had and love it. She thought it was great and we saw a display about our relative-- Appleton Harmon and his journal he kept while on the trek west. We took lots of pictures and went to see the Christus. It was so peaceful and inviting. I loved just sitting there feeling the Spirit and pondering events in my life. We went into the Distribution Center and had a good time picking out a surprise for her kids. We finally decided on some Mormon Ad posters. :) Cute. We also decided to go to the Beehive House. (Brigham Young's home) We were led around by 2 cute sister missionaries who made me a little homesick for being on my mission. They seemed to really enjoy their time there and you could feel their testimonies as they spoke of the love they had for Brigham Young. It was a fun experience. It took a little longer than expected so we had to bust a move out of there. Luck was on our side however and we were right on time to the reception. It was in Bountiful. We got there right before Chris and Becca, so we all went in together. It was pretty and I had a good time visiting with the family. Alicia and Scott look really happy and Amanda and Alicia both looked so beautiful. It was a fun night. The desserts were delish, and I had fun visiting with some friends of Aunt Pat and Uncle Wayne I had babysat for previously. (like when I was 12) It was a fun night. We headed back to Chris and Becca's and visited for awhile before we all felt too tired to stay awake. Sunday, we got up and lounged a bit. Chris made Waffles (eggo) yummmy!! I curled Becca's hair (and it looked so cute even if I do say so myself). We headed home after that. Michelle and I watched a seminary church video on the way home. Really fun. It was a great weekend.
