I went to work with Dad!!!

Today I decided to go to work with dad. We took some pictures and had some fun. I'm so glad I got to go. Thanks for letting me come Dad!!!

A sillouette...So beautiful.

The name of this picture would be.... "My greatest pet peeve realized!!" (tall grass and flip flops. blah!!!)

Dad is just feeling so "congested"!! You all know what is going on... get the rain coat!! Heee heee

Here he goes...

Does this look like a congested area to you???

"AAAAhhhhhh... Cheesecake on a stick!!!"

I went to Utah this weekend to see Chris, Becca snd Ellie. Jody was going down to visit her brother and sister in law so I caught a ride. It was so great. On Saturday morning, C & B went to the temple and I got to babysit Ellie. We had a great time. It was nice for me because normally when I see Ellie, I'm surrounded by other family members (Mom & Dad or Michelle). Ellie seems to like them better than me, and so this was the perfect time for me to bond with her.
Steph and Ellie playing on the couch... she's trying to get out of the picture and being so funny!!!

We painted our nails the same color. When I brought out the nail polish, Ellie quickly whipped off her socks and put her toes out so I would paint them too.
Ellie giving me me a funny look. She's been eating oatmeal and stealing my yogurt. Funny!!!
We decided to go to Park City for the day. Ellie is driving us there!!!
Chris & Becca eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We made them out of the trunk of their car before walking up and down main street.
Becca and Ellie on Main Street... we were waiting for Chris while he looked at some golf posters.
When we saw this hat, Ellie pointed to it and said "papa". It was so cute, we had to get her picture in the hat for grandpa.
Chris and Ellie chillin' while Becca and I watched from afar.

AND... The only real reason to go to Park City is..... CHEESECAKE ON A STICK!!!!! Yummo!!

Dunia on our way to Lagoon... Look at the excitement!!
Dunia and Gerardo... So cute. We are traveling in comfort and don't have to ride the bus down to Utah. So lovely.
Stephanie and Gerardo... Lookin' excited!
Dunia right before graduation. Doesn't she look pretty?? When I first saw her, I just started crying. I felt like a proud mama. She is such a good friend and someone who makes me feel so good. I just love her!!! Thanks for being such a good friend to me Dunie!!
Dunia walking into Graduation with the help of Mr. Beck and her walking partner, Jose. I was so proud of her for walking in graduation. It would have been so much easier to wheel in, but I think she was so happy after she did it. (and tired)
Cheltzey Overdorf and Gerardo Ruiz... walking partners for Graduation. I love Cheltzey. She is such a kind girl and has the sweetest spirit. She is such good friends with Gerardo and Dunia and always made an effort to make them feel special. She will be blessed for many years to come for being such a Christ-like person.
Gerardo with 'mom'... aka... Janice Williams. They are reading his part in graduation. He did a great job!!
Dunia reading her part of graduation. She did a great job!!
Dunia, Cheltzey and Gerardo sitting with the graduates during the graduation talks. Gerardo got tired and I thought he was going to be the first graduate in history to fall asleep in his graduation. It would've been funny!!!

Trip to Utah

The Salt Lake Temple
Michelle showing her bus driving skills. I didn't dare park the car in such a cramped space since it wasn't my car. She's a pro though!! Way to go!!!
Fun day at temple square!!
Michelle, and what a pretty picture of her.
A picture of us in front of the temple. It's kind of far away, but you can at least see the temple in it.
Our relative, Appleton Harmon, who helped build an odometer for the wagons so they would know how many miles they traveled per day. To the side is his journal... pretty cool.
Michelle wanted this pict to be taken in the museum, because she's been studying about Joseph and Emma.
WOW!!
AGAIN.... WOW!!!
Hubba Hubba.... looking hot??
Michelle pointing out to me that I am a fabulous driver and that I am going the right way... without the GPS.

Aunt Janice at the wedding reception
Becca and Chris... in the background you can see Amanda and Aunt Pat.
Grandma Rowberry and Ellie... so cute!
Grandpa Rowberry and Ellie
Grandpa and Ellie playing. Having so much fun!!

So I know it's been awhile since I wrote, but things are finally slowing down. I am now out of school for the summer and I am so happy!!!
My cousin Alicia got married on May 2, and so I rode down to Utah with Mom, Dad & Michelle. It was a fun, FAST trip!! We left Rexburg at about 8:30 am. We took our time and Michelle and I watched Harry Potter 5 while dad drove. That was nice... made the trip go by much faster. We stopped in Taylorsville and picked up Chris. He guided us to this bakery called "Paradise Bakery" where we met Becca and Ellie and went to lunch. It was so delicious. I think this will be one of my new favorite restaurants for future visits. We did a little bit of shopping and then hurried back to Chris and Becca's apartment to get ready to go to Alicia and Scotts wedding. Well actually, Mom and Dad went to the wedding, Chris and Becca put Ellie down for a nap, and Michelle and I went to Temple Square. It was a fun visit. I haven't been there for awhile and it was nice to take a nice leisurely stroll. Michelle and I are pretty even tempered and it was nice to do what we wanted and not worry if the kids were getting tired etc. We went to the Church Museum, (Michelle had never been there before)I had and love it. She thought it was great and we saw a display about our relative-- Appleton Harmon and his journal he kept while on the trek west. We took lots of pictures and went to see the Christus. It was so peaceful and inviting. I loved just sitting there feeling the Spirit and pondering events in my life. We went into the Distribution Center and had a good time picking out a surprise for her kids. We finally decided on some Mormon Ad posters. :) Cute. We also decided to go to the Beehive House. (Brigham Young's home) We were led around by 2 cute sister missionaries who made me a little homesick for being on my mission. They seemed to really enjoy their time there and you could feel their testimonies as they spoke of the love they had for Brigham Young. It was a fun experience. It took a little longer than expected so we had to bust a move out of there. Luck was on our side however and we were right on time to the reception. It was in Bountiful. We got there right before Chris and Becca, so we all went in together. It was pretty and I had a good time visiting with the family. Alicia and Scott look really happy and Amanda and Alicia both looked so beautiful. It was a fun night. The desserts were delish, and I had fun visiting with some friends of Aunt Pat and Uncle Wayne I had babysat for previously. (like when I was 12) It was a fun night. We headed back to Chris and Becca's and visited for awhile before we all felt too tired to stay awake. Sunday, we got up and lounged a bit. Chris made Waffles (eggo) yummmy!! I curled Becca's hair (and it looked so cute even if I do say so myself). We headed home after that. Michelle and I watched a seminary church video on the way home. Really fun. It was a great weekend.

Palisades Cabin Weekend

So the very last weekend of March, my friends and I went to a cabin near Palisades. I rode up with Jody on Friday afternoon so we could get things set up and WARM before everyone else showed up. It was great. I did get stuck in my parents EXPLODER, but since it has 4 wheel drive, we were fine. There was quite a bit of snow up there and I'm so glad we took the exploder my little snowball of a car would never have made it up to the cabin (from the road). (since we blazed the trail to the cabin) DeeJay and Liz showed up right after us, so they helped us carry things in and DeeJay started a fire. It was so nice and peaceful. We've been to this cabin before and just love it. I had such a great time. We ate lots of yummy food, played games, teased Jody(which should be a funny email in the days to come-- and I can't wait!!), watched movies, and just basically lounged. It was so relaxing. I didn't really want to come home. Only a few things could've made it better... like the hot tub working, and me not being so cold... but I can't complain about that. It was just so great!!! We played cards (phase 10) and I kicked everyone's butts. It was great. And I wasn't a gracious winner either. I kind of rubbed it in, so I am doomed from here on out. I just love that game.
A pretty view near the gate to the cabin. It was so pretty, and it snowed most of the time, but it was the calm peaceful snow fall and not the blizzardy snow fall (until we left for home)

Here's a picture of Jody and Bert. They are making a salad for dinner on Saturday night. I decided that I had a lot of pictures of the scenery, but not the people were were there with. The food was yummy and Jody did a great job of planning the menu and executing the making of the food.
Max, Suzie, and Sherma playing "Catch Phrase". I had been playing too, but took a break to take pictures. None of them will look at the camera for me though. Oh well.... I'll take what I can get.
This picture definitely had to be documented. Here is Max eating a cookie. He would argue that he is just holding up a cookie that someone bit into and it doesn't prove that he was eating the cookie. I just want to point out that I would never just take a picture of Max holding someone elses half eaten cookie. Makes no sense. :) So since Max is a bit annorexic, I decided to show that he did eat. It has only happened a few times that he has eaten anything I have made. (He didn't realize it, but just because Jody baked the cookies doesn't mean she made the dough....I did!! Heee heeee) He also ate dinner with us and had a piece of peach or strawberry pie later that night as well. At least he didn't feel he had to hide his eating from me like the time with the pizza at my apartment. YES Max, I caught you!!!
Me and the pretty view from the front porch looking out on the lake.
Ahhhhh! Beautiful and peaceful!!
One of my favs!! It was relaxing to be at the cabin. Just look at the peace and serenity. Sigh!!!
